ABOUT ME

Hello and welcome to my biography page. Where to start? My name is David Lea Kenney, an award-winning photographer from Wadebridge, Cornwall.

 

Growing up in the beautiful county of Cornwall I have learned to love the gifts of mother nature. From the rugged coasts to the desolate moorlands.

I've been doing the art of photography for over 8 years and have loved every minute of it. Even if I don't get the shot I'm looking for, I still enjoy the process and being outside in the fresh air.

You might have noticed I am in a wheelchair with a disease, Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 3.  This hasn't stopped me getting great photos. If there is a pretty landscape or an amazing wild animal I can see, I will be trying my best to get a great photo. I always say "Concentrate on what you can do, not what you can't"
